Home is Not a Place - Proximity Mag, Readers Write
I wrote this short essay on home for a writing blog started by several of my fellow Goucher College graduate students. Go to their website to check it out:
Freelance writer, restless wanderer, traveler, searcher, social justice seeker, pro-choice, anti-hate, outsider, solo flyer, dog lover, risk taker, coffee drinker, sushi eater...
I'm working on my MFA through Goucher College's low-residency creative nonfiction writing program and I just finished the first draft of my manuscript, tentatively titled, "Searching for Home," about my time as a punk rock kid from Boston who ended up on the streets of D.C. and N.Y.C. during the Hardcore heyday of 1982 and '83.
